Agreed mate my contract is up in two months and no matter what it costs I'll be getting the iphone5. If it costs more than my season ticket then I'll just have to give up football.

Always thought you had your own mind SWP. Especially you being on the ball financially. Anyone can see that the iphone is a great phone but financially your getting a bad deal weather you can afford it or not!

Now being touted with only dual core processor,same size battery as the current model and a smaller connector(read old docks now defunct or fork out for adaptor). The screen is also meant to be ultra thin which considering the current one breaks if you sneeze on it means more money for breakages. I guess if you just HAVE to follow the crowd then fair enough.

Not at all. The phone costs me nothing so I can't see that being a bad deal financially at all.

Plus the apps aren't as good.

Nor the way they link up with my itunes or ipad.

I drive a 5 series and sure, I could probably buy a mondeo and "save money" and be better off financially and spend a few hundred more a month on brass, but an iPhone is a way of life. I feel sorry for those that can't afford the dream.
