iPhone 5!

I suppose it all boils down to how much you use a mobile phone. I, for one, make a few calls, type some random texts at 2am to strange women and listen to music in the car on mine. It sounds like you use yours for much more. I suspect that Gstar is more in my camp than yours you metro sexual you.

The stupid thing is, i am considering upgrading, i do use my phone all sorts (they're not just phones anymore)

But until 4G/LTE is up and running my 4 does everything i need and the 5 seems to behaving some teething issues, not to mention EE having the monopoly as it stands. It's just not value for me right now.

Does anyone know why in the top left hand corner, my network says EE, when I'm on orange?

Orange and T-Mobile have changed their name to Everything Everywhere

Sometimes it still says "orange-TMobile" though. So is my new iPhone 5 running 4G? Has it been released yet?

As for 4G its not running yet but i received text 2 days ago from Orange saying they are changing their name to EE and when 4G is up and running they will send me another text where you have to sign up for a 4G price plan and they will send you a new sim card as your current sim wont support 4G
All the info is here mate

In that it is a phone yes.

But to say that changing to a 5 from a 3s isn't worth it is madness.

It's like keeping a metro as it does the same thing, on the whole, as a range rover.

If Gstar is happy with his phone, a phone let's not forget that allows him to ring people, text a few mates and pop online for a while, then why should he upgrade to a 5? Surely it does exactly the same things as a 5 but without the stupid maps or the pointless Siri thing (Is my brother here yet? Doesn't the empty seat next to you not give you a big fucking clue?)
He can keep whatever he phone he wishes, I said that saying it was "pointless" to change was ridiculous.

I have gone from the 4 to the 5 and the difference is huge. The maps seem better (but I have not put in anything that it can't find as of yet) especially the 3d view, Siri is fucking brilliant and certainly not useless - I didn't have the 4s but siri really is the dogs bollocks for getting info very quickly and dictating texts whilst driving and saying "do not disturb me for half an hour" when i go for a wank, it's lighter, 10x faster, fits better in the hand, has a far better camera, doesn't lose signal if I hold it in my left hand, has a better screen for viewing, feels better on the touch screen - hard to explain without showing you, has a better battery life, it just does everything and a little bit more better than my 4 did.

That's not to say people must upgrade, just that doing so is not pointless.

edit: I just told siri I wanted some dance music to rave to and he put on axwell - I found you. I think I'd rather marry him than my mrs.

I have an iphone 4s, it's the only iphone I've had so I can't really compare to previous models. From what I read/hear, there never seems to be much in the way of drastic improvements though in order to justify the fuss the new model creates.

I have not seen a 5 in the flesh, but from the pics I've seen the design is oh so very similar.

By updating the software to ios6 (this can be done on the 3GS, 4 & 4S as far as I am aware), I've got the new maps app in its' 3D glory. Siri is a bit of a novelty for which the fun seems to fade after a couple of days, are 3GS/4 users missing much? The camera for the 4S and 5 is 8 megapixels. The 4S was pretty much released to correct the issues with the 4, namely the antenna issue, so no issues there with the 4S.

Is the 5 a worthy upgrade for the 4/4S, or are Apple just milking the cow again and, especially with the need for all-new accessories, taking advantage of an easy market?
