Love iPhone 5. May not be the step up from 3 to 4, but it's still a beautiful piece of kit. Much lighter than my 4, and overall sleeker and more intuitive.

Haha - that's what folk said when researchers took the new Iphone 5 out onto the streets for peoples opinions. The trick was that they handed folk an Iphone 4 and said it was a 5 - some of them held the 4 in both hands - their own 4 and the new 5 - and said hoe the 5 was SEXIER than the 4 etc - just proves that some folk are just as thick as pig shit and that's why they worship a hand held device.

Can't wait to upgrade and get mine so I can sell it and make a few hundred, I'm still quite happy with my 3GS it does everything I need it to do seems pointless having an i phone 5.

I really dont understand why the majority of people need smartphones. A 10 year old phone would serve the purposes of making calls and sending messages and that is what most people need phones for. I am quite happy with my six year old Nokia 1650. Really dont understand the hoopla surrounding smartphones.

It's not ridiculous. They're very similar pieces of software wrapped up ever so slightly different cases.

It's not ridiculous. They're very similar pieces of software wrapped up ever so slightly different cases.

The 3S and 5 are not very similar at all.

Fantastic retort.

The biggest difference is probably facetime and the lack of a second forward facing camera on the 3S. Although the free skype app may get past most of those issues.

The majority of core functionality remains in both products.
