Wireless charging should have come to apple products by now.

why?

It's incredibly inefficient technology.

To my mind apple has a problem of duplication now. As a fully signed up fanboy i find that I rarely use any apps on my phone anymore apart from gps and music. Everything else I do on my iPad.

Because of this I'm unlikely to upgrade my 4 even though my contract will give me a discounted upgrade (we don't get free phones on contract here just price reductions).

Its the kind of feature that would fit with Apple's image.

Consumer's shouldn't really prioritise the technicalities over the practicalities.

Woreless charing should mean no wires, no getting caught short. i.e ultimate mobile convenience. They've spoke about it before yet competitors are beating them to the market with it.

This changes everything. Again... What? Shit.

Tapatalk, Bloomberg, weather and camera are all I use on mine other than the obvious phone, text and emither.

Old Zune sh1te. New zune pretty easy. And besides i use the free music mix on the phone. You know free music you can download off line and listen to for free.

Was inefficient. Gone are the days of the Palm pre technology. This is the future of charging many devices not just phones. The same technology is being used to charge EV`s now with many saying it will replace plugged charging totally in 20 years.

I've made Mrs P aware that I want a new iPad, and there will be consequences if I don't get one. As for the phones though, not for me. if you need one like you do, fair enough, but in my experience alot of people get one 'because it's an iPhone', rather than actually looking at whether it's any good or not. I'm a fan of HTC, not 'because it's a HTC', but because they are simply quite brilliant at what they do. Looking at getting the One X next.

I had the desire when it first came out. Great phone. Id say it was as good as the early iphones. The problem i found was the power needed to run the OS wasn`t sufficient and i got fed up with the android OS so went for windows and have not looked back. I do have a samsung galaxy tab2 10.1 which is great but not quite as slick as the ipad 2/3 although it was £150 less and does everything i need :-)
