Had an iPhone 4 since they came out nearly 3 year ago

Worst phone I have ever had (for calls, signal, texts etc), but best gadget

Was going to upgrade to a iphone5, but might got down the android route. Like the look of the new sony experia z

Go for Android. Moved from iPhone, and it's the best decision I've ever made. However, avoid Sony Xperia phones. Had nothing but trouble with both Xperia S and T models. Screen issues, microphones going, terrible battery life. Go for HTC or Samsung.

I have been given an iphone 5 but it is locked on O2 and I use Vodafone. I have tried O2 but they won't unlock it yet. Anybody know of any other avenues I can go down?

Even they can't do it. Looks like I will have to wait until O2 start allowing them to be unlocked
