I have a bad feeling that McKenna will wimp out and drop Delap permanently as soon as he dares go three games in a row without scoring, but that can hardly be our concern right now. Think we will do well in this one.

In a new twist on an old theme the Ipswich fan forum claims that as a result of the rich men's take over Manchester City ceased to exist as a football club AFTER 2008.

You can sort of tell the clubs with decent fanbases apart from the clubs with shit fanbases purely by whether anyone's bothered to make a decent forum for them... and I'll leave it at that.

Could be an exciting game. They will work hard, they will play on the counter and attack at pace. They also have a former player coming back.

We were ok last week but should be a little sharper this week. Rodri’s absence means we’re more vulnerable in transitions but hopefully we get to see more of Savinho and Doku.

What i do love about Ipswich Town...is thst they smashed utd 6-3 at Portmsn Road in a league mstch,under Bobby Robson, a brilliant performance with Eric Gates Alan Brazil and the two exquisite Dutchman Muhren and Thissen running wild.
I do remember a keeper saving 3 penalties that day but for the life of me can't remember if it was Gary Bailey or Paul Cooper.
Great to watch that on MOTD, back in the day.

Bobby Robson's Ipswich team were very unlucky to be around when Liverpool were dominant but also Forest and Villa were picking up trophies.

Was on the tour yesterday, tour leader said Gundo is getting introduced on the pitch before the game to the crowd , suggesting he wasn’t playing but who knows …. Would be great to see playing on that blue shirt again!

Yes I expect us to get over the line fairly comfortably in the end in this one. I think we’re capable of playing within ourselves and winning 3-0 today, Haaland, De Bruyne and Foden on the scoresheet.
