We might not exactly rule the waves anymore, but I'm quite sure the Royal Navy is more than capable of removing the Iranian navy from posing a thread to British shipping.
 
Oh tankers, sorry, my bad I misread it, I thought the Iranians had arrested a yoonitid fan, sorry as you were.

the Iranian navy isnt the problem, the Iranian ground/land is, they could take every single ship out in that region before they get spanked, then were going to be paying £20 a gallon

Extremely doubtful they could before long the U.S. will put the tankers into escorted convey's it would be pretty unwise of Iran to risk a conflict with both the UK and USAs military.
 
Don't we have a nice shiny new aircraft carrier? Oh hang on it's only an aircraft carrier if you have aircraft to go on it, I was in Portsmouth Monday it looks really good tied up in the docks looking abandoned!
