Iranian General killed by US Drone.

I do not know what all evidence was there and I am pretty sure you too don't unless you actually work for the secret service. However he is by constitution Commander in Chief and has the authority to take such actions. If you can provide solid evidence that there was no harm being planned against Americans and American interests not sure how you question the decision.

Where to start with this...

I would’ve thought the onus was more on the US government to provide solid evidence that harm was being planned against Americans.

Another thing, how could I provide “solid evidence” he “wasn’t” plotting anything?

For all we know his plottings could be secret in his head.

If you’re going to assassinate a senior figure of another sovereign country, even ignoring the legalities of doing so, it’s on you to provide the evidence.

Well I just saw a post linking the terrorist act in Kenya to Trump's action and somehow indicating that was the cause hence providing a justification for the terrorist act.

I think you've seen an indication of justification where there wasn't any.
The original post was clearly meant ironically, whether accurately or not.

The argument isn’t that the dead General wasn’t a **** and one in which had been behind many atrocities and maybe had planned more.

But there’s such thing as a strategy and this is where the argument is. He’s escalated things, made a complete cock up in Iraq and has broken international law.

If step 1 is peace talks and step 10 is nuking Tehran, this action is about step 6/7, when Trump needed to be at 3/4.
Again all kinds of assumptions and hyperbole without any foundation. Nobody is talking about nuke's except maybe on this board. Trump issued a statement that he did this to avoid war but obviously that does not count. How do you know that Americanss lives were not saved because of this ? Just recently American embassy in Baghdad was under attack, what if something was known of some plans that a decision was required?

That may be provided in appropriate forum but one cannot hold up immediate action for that.

The senior figure was in secret service knowledge for over a decade and no action was taken by Bush and Obama. At this point the decision was taken into consideration the danger posed now.
