Ireland and Bellamy's clubs on 01/09/10

I can see Ireland waiting for a chance at city to start and then getting back to his best. class player on his day.

Bellamy, can see him at spurs now they missed out on cole. Cant see him featuring too much other than from the bench this season.

Do you think Ireland will get a chance though?
I think Mancini just doesnt fancy him

Bellamy favors the 4 iron. Stevie seems like more of a sand wedge.

Bellamy's 9th. club more of a Putter than a Driver.

Bellamy is renowned for his much criticised behaviour on and of the field. Hence my querying whether he will be lugging his 'club' baggage (3i-PW) if he was to leave City on a bad note with a 'putter in his hand'

Ireland needs a driver (Mancini to drive him) IMO

Ireland - Villa

Bellers - City

Probably this ^

Last season we sign Barry off Villa and they replace him with Milner who goes on to have a better season than Barry.

This season we'll sign Milner off Villa and they'll replace him with Ireland who will go on to have a better season than Milner.

This time next year we'll probably be talking about resigning Ireland for about 3 times the price we sold him for lol

They should both be kept unless you can pick out ten midfielders that are currently better at the club because in a season with, in all probability, 60+ games you need this many and they will all get a decent run out. Milan always used to have two teams when in europe, one for the weekend one for the midweek and it's gotta make sense. Obv it won't be that cut and dried, some will play more than others, but if I were Ireland or Bellers, I'd rather stay here and get 20ish starts than go to some of the clubs they've been linked with?

I posted this on another thread. I spoke to Bellamy after the Portland game & asked him if he was staying around next season - more as a joke. He said no as the top men don't want him. I was really surprised by his honesty. I was expecting a more diplomatic "wait & see" blah, blah, blah type of answer but he seemed a bit pissed off that he wasn't wanted. There was no mistaking the intent of his comment.
