Apparently the bloke who put the banner up wants £500 or he's not taking it down.
He also said that the reason the banner didn't look as good as it should was because it was marginally to the left of the position he'd ideally have liked the banner to be hung.

christ! What is with the personal attacks. I couldnt have any more love for mcfc! To question my right to call myself a supporter of the club because i am willing to back mancini's judgement. For different reasons both bellers and ireland are dispensable. I dont think it is right he holds us to ransom for a couple of £m
I for one am sick to the back teeth of all this 'One of our own' bullshit regarding Ireland.
SWP maybe, even Onuoha, but Ireland is a one season wonder with serious mental issues and to put it quite bluntly, is a RAG!
This prick is not one of us, if he had his way he would walk to Sold Trafford to join them, then walk down to London to celebrate with the Rags Main Fanclub Base, then walk to Holyhead to catch a cruise to Ireland to celebrate with his Grandmas. I will be happy to see the back of him, cheers for 08/09, but apart from that he did feck all else quite frankly. Oh btw, seeing as I've just slagged him off, does that mean I'm not a real blue?
