Ireland speaks out [Merged]

"I was first in and last out of training and no-one worked any harder than me."

"I was always the best player in training"

Well done Stevie, have a blue crayon.

Fuckinell, how old are you?

Being best player on the training field makes no difference if you can't do it on the pitch.

And how can he complain about youth players wearing 10k watches when he's rolling around in an Audi R8 with a Superman badge and a Range Rover with pink alloy's.

Seriously, why can't you be gracious in defeat?

Not forgettin' Jaws in his living room.

Have DD, PB and Billy S been on this thread to defend this spoilt brat?

While I have always been ambivalent about Ireland these comments show a complete lack of self knowledge. He is seriously confused. And to disrespect City's part in making him a hugely well paid professional.

Fully agree with this, he complains Mancini told him to improve his attitude and then bangs on about his monitors showed he worked the hardest in training, if the look on his face in the Daily Mail is anything to go by he probably stood about with a face like a smacked arse when asked to do something different. He has been looked after for most of his footballing life by City and now acts like a spoiled brat, even complaing that today's youth do not treat him with respect. How old is he? Sorry but I have now lost all/any respect I had for him.

Haven´t read the last 16 pages or so, but it seems things change quickly. In the days before Bellamys departure, it was him that got called a massive cock, and pointed at Ireland to show to behave when leaving a club. Now, Bellamy has left for his boyhood club, and we are probably still paying him something like 60% of his wages, and he gets called a true gentleman for not slagging of the club that STILL pays his wages.

The general consensus before Ireland left was that he really didn´t want to leave, but we still did everything in our power to make him sign for Villa. I´m surprised you guys did not see this coming. IMO, it was quite obvious, and I actually don´t blame him. Now, call me a rag someone.

Never had that much TBH, "I want to play where I want or I won't play at all" Sounds like the Micheal Hughes character that the rags had in their shit fanzine.
Stevie did not need to make it come true.

Mancini was right he did need to sort his attitude that fact that he could not be arsed means bye bye, don't slam the door on your way out
