Ireland speaks out [Merged]

The more I read it the more I really get the impression he is saying I had my chance but I blew it. Thats the key he bangs on about how good he was in training fine but why last season did we only see it once? even when he played in his favourite position just behind the striker he was average at best. the whole article seems sour grapes he knew if he gave City reasons we wouldn't have sold him.

Good riddance to an over-rated bottless twat. He will fail everywhere he goes because he lacks balls. He had one decent season and he wasnt that great then. I bet he declares himself injured when he plays us home and away.

Hughes wasn't picking him either

Stephen Ireland blames Mark Hughes for his loss of form at City

It is only since Mancini’s arrival at the City of Manchester Stadium, after Hughes’s dismissal in December, that Ireland, the club’s Player of the Year for 2008-09, feels he has returned to form. Under the Italian, Ireland has been given the opportunity to revert to his favoured attacking midfield role.

Stephen Ireland slams Kevin Keegan, Stuart Pearce and Sven Goran Eriksson

Stephen Ireland has delivered an extraordinary snub to Manchester City's former managers - by claiming they finally have a "proper" boss in Mark Hughes.

Ireland has been at City during the reigns of Kevin Keegan, Stuart Pearce and Sven Goran Eriksson.

But he claims that out of all of them, only Hughes has what it takes to send the perennial under-achievers to new heights.

Ireland declared: "He's a proper manager, the kind which I have always wanted to play under and who covers every aspect of preparation and training.

I suppose he does show some consistency.
hahahaha classic mate, well said - game set & match, (to Mancini) I suggest

Game, Set and Match!!!

And there you have Stephen Ireland in a nutshell, apart from a good 2/3rd's of ONE season, he's a perennial and serial under-achiever!!!

Now let's move on and for once and for all wash our hands of this cheeky, disloyal, distictly average SLAP HEAD BASTARD!!!!
