Just shows you how bad the Academy system has become in this country. Producing average talent across the board, with a huge amount of players lacking quality and technique in the final thing they do (pass, cross, shoot, head, tackle).
Just shows you you can have lovely Premier League quality pitches, facilities etc. but it doesn't compare to dry bobbly soil pitches and rusty goalposts with no nets like in South America where they produce player after player at a level that seems a million miles away from where we are.

Not really sure what I was expecting from the game, but I certainly didn't expect the brain-numbing dross that Hodgson just served up.
I've been used to disappointment when it comes to watching England, but these last few years have been the worst. Dull, predictable and totally fucking soul destroying.
