Any wonder why we have so few England players in our squad. Any team in this country that wants to be successful will have as few as possible. Reeks of mediocrity.
Fenway must be bricking it with performances like that. A million off the price with each breath.
For the (brain) dead? He's an England and United regular, show some respect
England's downfall a lot to blame on Premier League, I would have to say. Since Premier league became a thing, England's form has durastically went down with the exceptions of 2002-2006. Too many lucrative contracts and TV deals. England were amazing before Premier League even became a thing. 1990 World cup must've been the best I've ever seen England play. English players need to be urged to play in foreign leagues to develop their talent, rather than being paid high wages and being spoon-fed by the English clubs. Every successful team in 2014 World Cup has a lot of players playing in foreign leagues such as Italian/German/Spanish. I do hope Sterling goes foreign and builds his talent.
Secondly, teams like United City Chelsea do absolutely no favours to England's NT. It's teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Southampton who bring up youth. Liverpool are now done with Sterling and now they are aiming to integrate new English talents such as Ojo and Jordan Ibe onto the new team, similar to how they did with Sterling. That's what most clubs need to follow.
