The big difference this year is that Stevie believes in himself! I don't question his martial arts work and Glossop morning runs have contributed, but I think there effects have been more psychological than physical. You can't make significant physiological differences in only a few weeks. SI is a class act and always has been. For years he has been cited by many of the playing staff as being the most skillful player at the club. He is just starting to realise his huge potential. In that recent press article, didn't it say that, as a kid, he won the Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools' skills competition, twice? It would have been a travesty if he'd finished up at Sunderland. Who knows, Keen might still have been in charge?
