Was my 30th birthday yesterday and I have woken up today feeling as though my best days are behind me. I am married and have 2 boys (6 and 2) and we run our own business so Im not worried in that respect. My wife keeps telling me how old 30 is (she is only 27) and it is has got me thinking.

Can anyone please reassure me that life is just beginning at 30!!

My youngest is 30 next year, that makes me feel old!
As others have said enjoy while you can as before you know it your lads will be asking you the same question.

I'd say up to 35 is young. 35-65 middle aged and 65+ old.

I'm a FOC, late 60's and walk at least 8000 steps a day, love it. Ride my bike also. It's great being retired. I've never had so much exercise and living next to the Ocean helps. Nice fresh air off the Pacific and erm bikini's.

Retirement IS great. I fought against it, tooth and nail, but it certainly diminished the stress in my life. Now my big daily decision is Peroni or Budweiser. :-)

I'm a Yank, I was weaned on Budweiser and have aquired a fondness for Peroni of late. I would opt for a Bass ale or a Newcastle Brown, but they are not very easy to find lately.

30 is a long way from being old.
I'm recently 64 and still feel I have something to offer.
Being a City fan you have so much to look forward to now, not like when I was 30. (Put a few years on me that did! Lol).
