Psychologists say its real but we know they do love to make up names for millions of different 'conditions' which in reality are just different personality traits. We can't all be the same, some people don't like being touched by strangers, some dont like being shouted at, some dont like spiders, if you went to a psychologist he'd reel off about 20 things 'wrong' with you.
Pharmaceutical companies make billions off the medication for it thanks to studies done by said psychologists about what the symptoms of someone with ADHD are. The Americans pump their children full of the stuff and many of the children who take it actively say they feel 'dull' and 'subdued' when they take it.
There is no actual evidence to say it exists, have you ever seen an adult with ADHD? It simply doesn't happen because its just kids who eat sugar, go mad, calm down, hormones, some children being more lively than others and bad parenting that means they are out of control that have created the ADHD myth.
If parents actually disciplined their children and controlled their sugar intake etc.. then im sure the levels of 'ADHD' would go down dramatically but in America unfortunately they seem to find giving their kids pills the much easier option.
I remember reading that in Japan,
they don't have depression, it isn't something that their Psychologists diagnose, except where people are actually suicidal.
This was annoying the Pharmacutical companies because depression medicide is very very lucrative.
People like to think that they can take a pill to make their problems go away
This is worse in the US because of the relationship between government, pharmacutical companies and the medical industry.
