Is anyone else feeling disipointed by transfers?

Late bloomers Lol. I've been watching City churn out so called wonder kids for 30 years and not one of them has been a world beater. David White was decent enough and the odd one has been average. Why do you think we've won nothing for 30 odd years, sticking with kids that haven't been good enough has been part of our demise.

Until they're more consistent when they're 24ish they will have to bide their time.......the quality is there, the consistency isn't yet e.g Ireland/Richards/onohua/Weiss etc.
Think we'd be stupid to get rid of players which will become the backbone of us for years to come.

I really can't see us selling Johnson, due the the fact you will get little more than "scrap value" on someone thats not played in 2 years. As for the others, sometimes players need fresh starts and I would be happy for any of them to stay, but would understand if they do move.

They can only stay if they are good enough. Sentimentality will win you nothing in this league.

It's no good if they're not good enough though is it?

yes but these players could be good enough there still young and who knows you cant really say someone isnt good enough when there young they could be late bloomers

Late bloomers!!!! lol they're about 19 - 21. Just because Owen and Rooney were excellent at 17!

loan ned, Ireland and Richards out, gives them time to improve, if they don't prove they can hack it, then sell.
Preferably to unfashionable clubs, would like to see Richards at Sunderland, as it's hardly party capital of the world, would test his professionalism/dedication and see how lucky they/he are to be part of this project.

didnt mean it like that im ment maybe as they get older they will get better and just cos they arent doing it now they might when they get older

I think the best thing with our academy boys who have graduated into the EPL is to loan them out. I think it would be a mistake to let The Emerald Prince go. There's half a dozen teams ready to snaffle him up. Hang on. Don't do any competitors any favours.

I don't mean by the ones coming, I mean by the club being rumoured to be wanting to sell, Ned,Ireland,Micah,Johnson all the academy players I don't want any of our academy lads tom leave as they no what city are to us!!!

Ned is just not good enough
Ireland has turned up for 6 months in his whole career
Micah has turned into a bodybuilder
Johnson is class but more injury prone than Boj and that says alot
