We battered ten men 5-0 who couldn't be arsed tbh. We played excellent once they went down to ten men, we even played well enough before that. But before that we were also nervous and letting them through too easily. Especially past Otamendi.

There is a difference between getting excited about the football we see and expecting to win everything. I genuinely look forward to being entertained every time I go and am excited about that but accept that we won't always win. I've felt this way pretty much since 2011 and it's not diminishing. Just enjoy it!

Well they were arsed first half, hence them breaking through a couple of times.
I don't think that it's right to keep scapegoating Otamendi, he has had some very good games for us.
We were in the ascendancy when Mane did what he did, and even if the sides had been 11 v 11 I still believe that we would have won.

Yes I think it would have been 2-1 or 3-2 to us had they not had a player sent off. Recently we always get excited on here at this stage of the season and with good reason.
However, the smile has been wiped off our faces fairly quickly. The next two away games will give us some indication of our current standing viv a vis a genuine title bid. However, the ten games between November 25th and January 1st will tell us if we are capable of putting in a sustained challenge and taking this down to the wire.

Funny reading the comments on here. Win two games convincingly and you're not allowed to have any nervous feelings for the rest of the season.
I'm with you pal. I'd love to believe we'll walk the league after beating Liverpool but I just can't nring myself to get carried away. 30+ years of following City has drilled scepticism into me.
