Is anyone thinking about the treble?

I will think about it once we have done the double but Real Madrid are the biggest obstacle. If they beat us fair enough then we can concentrate on doing the double against the shite!

I didn't think it could be done considering the distance we were behind Arsenal and the difficult games we had with Bayern and Real Madrid.

It's still going to be incredibly difficult, but a home game winner takes all against Real Madrid is a great position for this City side to be in. That puts us in a great position to win all three, but an FA Cup final against the rags puts an added layer of difficulty on it. Not only does that mean form goes out of the window somewhat, it is extra incentive for them because we're chasing their record.

Yesterday was a huge day for us. I can imagine the lads travelling back to Manchester watching/listening to the Arsenal game. What a boost! Title pretty much in the bag ahead of Wednesday, it puts us in great spirits. Still a lot to do, but considering how good we are at home in the CL and general, we've got a great chance to make the final and then we can really start talking about it.

Beat Chelsea and then we can rest for the two finals.

If we beat Real, the chance for the Treble goes from say 35% to nearly 50%, given we'd be strong favorites in the cup finals.

Personally, I'd think about the Treble IF we won vs Real.

I'm thinking about it now! I'm not confident we'll do it, but I'm thinking about it. Real is the big game. That rag cup final I'd be more nervous for than the CL final though.

I want the CL, and we're in a great position to win it even if Real's as hard as it gets. The league and CL double would be epic. It's only happened 4 times before. Add the FA Cup too and well...

I think Arsenals result yesterday we have given the lads a lot more confidence going into Wednesday night.

pressure from the league is off, come Wednesday night its all guns blazing for the CL , 90 minutes hard work followed by a few days off.

I`ve just picked this up from Rag Cafe and at last one Rag fan who you can honestly say is NOT like the vast majority :

Nothing really there though just a bit of paper talk

How is it during their whole tenure no other big club made a public interest for Aguero, Silva, Kompany, De Bruyne, etc?

Where as every other club in the country have their foreign stars raided
They are a club that provide the following:

Stable environment: they've had 1 manager in the past 6-7 years. No drama regarding the ownership. Players just want to play without dealing with bullshit.
Trophy challenges every season: odds are that with City, you'll lift at least 1 trophy at the end of the season
Lower pressure environment: see the nonsense that United players or Madrid players go through at times, justified by "well they're big clubs and fans have high expectations"... was there any pressure at City due to their CL exits or occasional fumbles in the league? The fans they have are more accepting of the process. This probably ropes into the first point
Manager: Contrary to internet experts, players actually respect Guardiola and enjoy playing for and learning from him and being part of dominating teams on the pitch.
Money: no idea of what goes on under the table and I'm not a conspiracy theorist. But we do know players at City get paid well, very well...

You can't lure away players who don't want to leave. That's why there have been rumors around B Silva and Sane... they wanted to leave. Hence the interest

Fair play to this man.Never thought I`d be singing the praises of anyone from the Dark Side.

Even if we get past Real Madrid, we still have to beat Inter/Milan. Shouldn’t dismiss how difficult this will be, we thought it was in the bag v Chelsea and we fucked it up royally.

Don’t get me wrong, 9 times out of 10 we would beat them but in a one off game of football anything can happen.

Anyway in spite of all the above I would actually feel disappointed now if we didn’t win the treble
