Heard this loads of times going back to when the first sky deal was done. Will never happen and clubs will continue to screw fans for as much cash as they can.Yeah i hope so. The amount the club will receive from match-going-fans will be minimal so like you say subsidise the tickets for local fans & fill out the stadium.

Depends on how they design it. I’m a metaverse developer and I have developed several VR worlds. I also came up with the term “metaphygital”, whereby interactions within the metaverse is both physical and digitalised interactions.
For it to be successful, it shouldn’t be restricted to VR headsets but also cross compatible to the the inevitable WebXR.
