Is Garry Cook in Milan?

He has just been on the phone and asked me to pass on the following.

"Myself and the manager talk about being in Milan all the time. Not being in Milan at some time in the future is not an option. This club is going places and Milan may or may not be one of those places. We are only thinking postive thoughts about Milan, Italy and Europe. If people don't want to eat pizza with us then they need to find another club. We are all about positivity and blue sky thinking. Spaghetti is on our agenda and if people aren't prepared to be fluid like spaghetti then we will bring in people that are. Italy looks like a boot and that's a metaphor for what we are achieveing. We are looking to kick this club towards being in the playoffs every year and being all about the W I N. I used to work with Michael Jordan, don't you know. He was a winner and so am I."

Gary, is that you?

Don't forget we are a 'FRANCHISE' now and have you finished building that bigger trophy cabinet you declared we would need, to much squirming from me.

Oh, I almost forgot, you're a captain of industry who knows his onions and all about football, because...

A - you have a business diploma from Harvard and worked your way to the very top at Nike?

or

B - I used to be a glorified chauffeur for Rod Stewart as I bummed a doller around LA. Got lucky one day and married the daughter of of my clients/passengers, who just happened to be the owner of a sportswear firm called MITRE and was fast-tracked as a result. (A LITTLE KNOWN FACT)

As my old man continues to tell me, 'It's not what you know, it's who you know!'

And you Garry, know shit all about running a football club.

LIVE THE DREAM!

Express says City have sent a contingent over to negotiate with/for him.

Thing is we have had Kaka on the radar since ADUG took over along with Robinho giving him the oil so I do not believe for one second that we have not had umpteen bleeding negotiations with the guy, his agent, his mum, his mum's mum and probably Ulrika (ka-ka) Johnson just to be on the safe side...

...so anyone flying to Milan for 'negotiations' on the 13th Jan is either making it up, stupid or putting on a show
