Is Guidetti Good Enough Next Season?

No point discussing untill next season IMO. Have a look at him in pre season and either A) Keep him B) Loan him to a prem club or C) Sell him while his value is high because he wont make it with us

The only reservation I have over him is that I believe he has said he's not prepared to play 4th striker. I'm sorry son, but you are 19. You should be jumping for joy at the prospect of playing 4th striker at a CL club which will be challenging for major honours. With all the competitions he will get more than enough games, and if he's not happy he can do a Sturridge and go on loan in Jan to Bolton or something. I just don't see the humility, it's like there is a sense of entitlement. One decent season in a so-so league does not a Messi make. Head down, work hard. Earn it.

Apparently when discussing Balotelli penalties don't count so Guidetti really isn't that good after all.

On a more serious note his style of play is more like Balotelli or Dzeko yet we have another thread on here saying we should be ditching these two as they don't suit the quick pass and move system like Tevez and Aguero. Good old bluemoon...

There has been plenty of strikers have scored tons of goals in the Dutch league who have then looked pretty ordinary elsewhere.

He's the next Samaras!

Alfonso Alves or Ruud Van Nistelrooy?

Needs a loan to a PL team, it's the next step up instead of sitting on our bench

Not for us, no.

He needs a PL loan where he'll actually get a decent amount of games, then we can start to judge him properly.

This, send him to Bolton for a season. Anyone can score in the dutch league.
