Yes. It completes the set. It completes the journey from York away. It takes us into a new bracket and even more appealing to the continent's best players. Winning the CL helps the club to grow, which helps us in the league. I've seen four league titles in 9 years (hopefully five titles soon) but never the European Cup.
I don't like certain elements within UEFA but I know how much it would mean to the people who have taken us from mediocrity to greatness. It would also show our enemies that we can overcome their best efforts to thwart us. It would be a testament to never giving up. I can't understand sections of our support. When people are hell bent on stopping us from winning it, they are only too happy to see our fans be apathetic and sulky about it. Don't give them that pleasure. Win it, rub it in and shove it down their throats.
Oh, and if we got to a final you'd soon hear people change their tune and see a stampede for tickets.
