The Blue Buus... is callin us... Driver, where you
Am I seeing sh!t loads more people sporting City gear around Manchester(Of course I can't speak for anywhere else as I don't live anywhere else!)??

I've always wore my tops on regular basis, but I swear I'm seeing all kinds of wear being branded whereas, in previous years, I'm pretty sure it was relative rare, in comparison to now!

I'm walking through town, the other day, and it's like a secret society of Blues have decided they don't want to be secret any more! I'm wearing my black away shirt, my son's in the home kit and I'm getting respected nods from fellow Blues! I'm not complaining cos I think it's great!

Just... Where have you all been??!!!

Our clubs a sleeping giant... might of reflected on some fans. ;)

Saying that, I've always seen a shit load of fans in and around Manchester.

my work place is kinda split 50 / 50 with rags and blues, but guess which ones are walking around laughing and smiling and guess which ones are quiet and not really interested in stopping and chatting about the footie ?..go one just take a rough guess .hehehe

never seen as many people in and around the stadium during the week as i have recently.closing the cafe cos it wasnt making money may now have been a mistake lol

My mate said there were loads of City fans who appeared from nowhere in the pub to watch the game last Saturday. If we're on TV and I can't make the game there are usually about 8 of us max in the local but last week he said about 30. I'm not going to complain, I'm glad we're getting some attention and people are becoming more interested in us.

I have seen various posts on here criticising 'johnny come latelys' and asking where fans have been all this time.

There are unquestionably many, many City fans who have laid dormant for years with just a passing interest in City. Like the OP, I have no problem whatsoever with these fans making themselves visible now that we stand on the cusp of success once more.

There are also many like me who have witnessed only the tough times. I was six the last time we won something and yet I have stuck with City through thin and thin. I cannot wait to see us lift our first trophy and when we do I'd like to think that anyone who has ever felt any affinity with our beloved club will raise a glass or several. This is no time for snobbishness or one upmanship, we will inevitably attract new followers but personally I would welcome that.

I am seeing more here in Blackpool there are loads of Mancunians who live here, they are not new kits either so I guess that there will be a few born again City fans

In the pub the other night & a bloke came in back from his holidays. He said he'd never seen so many people with City shirts on. I live in Shipley near Bradford & he's not a City fan. He didn't know I was, so didn't really need to say it!
