Is it Labour's time?

Corbyn really should form his own party and put an MP up in every constituency.

They might put up a bit of a fight in Islington but across the board they'd get less votes than UKIP. That might finally put an end to the shit show.

As a country we are at our best with a decent centre left labour party in power.
Exactly. Corbyn had his chance, two in fact, and he blew it, the first time against the single worst campaign for PM i've ever seen in my life (May was shocking). I wish people would get over the fact that whilst his politics might be exactly what some wish for (to a certain extent, myself) the man wasn't up to the task. His biggest problem imo was how pissy he got if anyone ever asked him a question he didn't like. It was pathetic.

We need the tories out. I'd happily vote SNP if that meant that happened.

Yes. This Govt like all govts eventually do has run its course. At the start in the coalition although the LD Party are perceived as having been weak it can be seen that they did act as something of a brake on the worst Tory excesses. Back then the papers shit their pants over Call Me Dave's "hug a hoodie" pronouncements and his trips to see some penguins. It all seems quite tame now looking back.

The referendum and post ref times allowed the loonies like the ERG come to the fore and hold far too much sway on their party. Then Johnson gets in wins and election and in "cleansing" his Party his 2019 intake brought in a lot of swivel eyed fanatics and know nowts who would simply vote whichever way he told them.

They will fight and fight dirty because they need to stay in power. Not only for the usual needs but for fear of what will be exposed in the various enquiries and investigations that are to come. They have already tried and failed to get the Johnson Liegate enquiry quashed.

So for now be it Labour or LD or a coalition is to come out in the wash - we just need this corrupt greedy self serving group of alleged Conservatives out of power - away for some time. People within that Party need to take that time to wrest control back and denounce the loonies that were given control because although I have never and would never vote Tory politics in this country will need all parties to work for the good of the country and its citizens not just a tiny cabal of morally bankrupt individuals.

I'm going to vote Labour when the time comes because the Tories have had their chance and can't even come up with a leader that doesn't embarass the country.

That being said, within a year of being in power we'll see that Labour politicians will be found out to be self serving grifters with no moral backbone, we need complete reform if we are going to get decent accountable government.

Angela Rayner is unelectable on any level.
Andy Burnham is a complete and total fraud. A career politician of the highest order. He's never had a real job in his life.
However, all things political are cyclic and Labour will win the
next two elections.

You are aware that both are where they are precisely because they were elected to their posts? What an odd conclusion to come to. You really should add something to the effect that you are expressing your own views that are not backed with any valid facts.

Tory innit.

My owns views are exactly as they are. Not better than your views and certainly no worse. It's a football forum mate. People express their views. That's what its for. Tell me any real job Andy Burnham as ever had?

Well they will never get a better chance, I think the tax cut for the top 1% was the final straw for some of the Tory voters I work with

I was merely pointing out that your statement that Angela Rayner is unelectable at any level was frankly stupid as she is an MP and has been elected in TWO general elections.

Burnham has been an elected MP, a Minister of State and is elected Mayor of Englands second city. I assume you are of the opinion that none of these are "real" jobs??
