Is it shameful what the FA are doing?

Compared it to the contractual obligation album. It will satisfy the contracts but be rubbish. So not bothered either way really. I‘ll wait for the next one. The only disappointing thing if its scrapped is Aguero’s goals records will go but hardly the most important thing in all this.

It would be a good idea for tv companies to give out the appearance money for games played already to help out clubs that are struggling.

The answer is to give the TV companies more games next season, to make up for the ones they've lost this season.
And allow live games at 3.00 pm so that the fans aren’t screwed over as much. No reason why two live games can’t be screened at that time on a Saturday every league weekend. That gives them an additional 78 games which would be more than they have lost this season. Season should be declared null and void and some clubs should count themselves lucky across all divisions and some unlucky. European spots based on last completed season so we would be in pot one as champions.

Some good points being put forward. But, Cannot see the the Fa, Premier league , tv , eufa, clubs, coming to any sort of consensus though.

Bbbbut if you make the league null and void and go on last season's ratings that would mean that the raggies will not be in CL and we can't have that can we.

If as expected we are going to enter another 3 weeks of lockdown from today I think it’s shameful the FA have not cancelled the premier league and made the season null and void, it’s not about us remaining champions or denying Liverpool it’s about the right thing to do. Wimbledon, the derby, the grand national etc all abandoned their sporting events surely the time has come now for the FA to do the right thing.

If this is basically a moral question then we should not be holding our breath, Coronavirus or not, as the FArce don't do 'moral'! They do whatever delivers the greatest benefit to The FArce, and it invariably involves filling a large coffer with someone else's money! LIke a lot of football clubs they are desperate to keep the loot rolling in!

Restarting the season really only works if everyone agrees to the same approach. you can't, for instance, have the Bundesliga or Italian League declared null and void while the PL carries on or UEFA tries to finish th CL. And if the PL carries on, the EFL has to. Otherwise it becomes a legal and logistical nightmare.

It will be the stuff of one fudge followed by another fudge to make the first fudge marginally workable, and then we add fudges ad infinitum. The governing bodies, if the last twenty years is anything to go by, are incapable of arriving at a seemingly straight impartial starting line and a system that only contains minor flaws. The obvious decision is one they will not be willing to take! And it will be down to one league, domestic or continental, to inform the others what they are doing!
