The answer is to give the TV companies more games next season, to make up for the ones they've lost this season.
They could easily give them an extra year of football rights at a reduced amount say half it.

The only plausible explanation is that they've already put down a substantial non-returnable deposit on the '30 Years of Hurt' celebration party they had planned for the end of the season.

Fudge infinitum sounds good to me.It will be the stuff of one fudge followed by another fudge to make the first fudge marginally workable, and then we add fudges ad infinitum.

Complete transparency here, of course I am totally biased... but I would absolutely love it if the League is declared void and Liverpool do not get the title. Can you imagine the scenes? Candle Manufacturers would not be able to cope with the demand - would be great for that part of the economy. :)

They might be able to fix that one Liverpool qualify as holders allowing Arsenal in then if our ban were to stand that would let 6th place qualify.Bbbbut if you make the league null and void and go on last season's ratings that would mean that the raggies will not be in CL and we can't have that can we.
