The answer is to give the TV companies more games next season, to make up for the ones they've lost this season.
However they do it it should be matched with player salary and fan season ticket reductions. They could easily give them an extra year of football rights at a reduced amount say half it.
That sounds like a good idea, but now amazon are in the market are there enough unsold games left to do this? The answer is to give the TV companies more games next season, to make up for the ones they've lost this season.
Fudge infinitum sounds good to me.It will be the stuff of one fudge followed by another fudge to make the first fudge marginally workable, and then we add fudges ad infinitum.
They might be able to fix that one Liverpool qualify as holders allowing Arsenal in then if our ban were to stand that would let 6th place qualify.Bbbbut if you make the league null and void and go on last season's ratings that would mean that the raggies will not be in CL and we can't have that can we.
I thought of that in bed last night and was going to post it this morning. Well done. Forever in blue jeans. To quote Neil Diamond:
"Money talks
But it don't sing and dance, and it don't walk"
Sums up the football authorities perfectly.
