Do we finally have a new King?

One who we can drink a drink a drink to?
Is Carlos now the King the King the King?
Is he now the leader of Man City?
Is he the greatest centre forward that the world has ever seen?

I know he's been here for less than a season...........and his 1st touch is crap & he doesn't score enough goals (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha), but the guy is top top class.

Colin Bell played during the most successful period of our clubs history,he contributed to that time and won medals with City.Lets hope Carlos is about to do the same.Only then can he be compared to Colin Bell.

in time i can honestly see him becoming a legend. as in someone who people speak about in 20-30 years. with the circumstances in which he came and the form he is in. i love that argie twat.

I watched bell in that team and whilst I agree with the sentiment of your comments, Carlos would have been just as good in that team as he is in the present... he will surely go on to equal Colin's legendary status; so long as he see's out his contract at MCFC

no-way colin bell is the king and until we start winning trophys he will always be dont get me wrong tevez has had a good season id like to see it over a few seasons aswell before he can take the title of king

it's hard to say. different generations should come into it.

to me he could possibly be the best player we've had for 20 years.

He'll never shag a sexy bird though!!!!!

;)

Due to the fact woman are all, er, shallow money grabbing whores, I'm sure plenty of oppurtunities to shag a fit bird will be presented to him, although having a girlfriend/kid may stop him, although lets face it, that doesn't happen often!!

That's kind of my point.....Colin was the King (and I don't think anybody would dispute that), but he hasn't pulled on his boots for us for about 30 years.

Surely it's time for the new King to take us to the promised land?

"he's the leader of our Team" changed to "leader of Man City"?

Just wondered.

i agree mate. there will always be a history there, and bell was amazing. but..

i was saying to someone who used to post on here last night, the only comparison i can make with tevez is maradonna or gascoigne (gascoigne being my favorite player ever)

i really don't think i'm going over the top with that statement.

Don't you think he's a bit old for that now ?

You don't replace legends, you add to them.

What a daft thread this is.

I would tend to agree with you there pal. Maybe not quite on the same level dribbling wise, but so difficult to knock off the ball. However, with his work rate & tenacity, he reminds me of a cross between Gazza, Maradona & the Tasmanian Devil.
