Is it time that Onouha was properly part of the squad ?

Some very clear and shocking thoughts revealed on here about Neds. Apart from the fact that he doesn't get regular games at any stretch of the imagination and, as one has said, could've easily not gave a sh*te about the game, I think he did remarkably well!

The "not good enough" brigade seem to think that we should have Superstars in every position. Well, those days are done and dusted. We have little chance of getting a 'world class' player in that position and will have to wait for a 'fantastic' youth player to come through.

Also, like some have said, Cook fooked Cook up; no one else.

Seriously, time to get the fook over it.

It is not the point cook fucked up it is the cynical underhanded sneaky way Ned chose to hire the sneaky rat Kia to bring trouble to the club.

I accept Cook cocked up but 11 months after ? seriously ? "it was worse than finding out i had cancer"
Thats just bullcrap in my eyes. Ned could easily have said "no mum let me fight for my place i dont need to stoop to such tactics to get what i want".

He didn't though did he, that says a lot about the man to me and what it says i find very hard to level with.

How do you know that Ned (or his mum for that matter) was ever asked by Kia ?

Also it could be argued that Cook leaving the club has strengthened Mancini's position considerably.

Anyway I was hoping to keep this discussion to Onouha the footballer, because in a squad full of stars we still need squad players, and watching him last night, I still think he is more than good enough to play a part in our squad.

The "no ambition, I'm happy to stay average as long as the players fight for the shirt" brigade no doubt love Onouha. He's not good enough for The Shite, or Chelsea so he's not good enough for us.

Not read the whole thread but I thought he was part of the squad. He was training both times I've managed to get down to Carrington this season with the squad.

-- Wed Nov 30, 2011 2:50 pm --

No offence, but your 'argument' is silly. Very child-like and silly, in fact.

You are suggesting Ned says "No mum" and right there you lost your point. Mrs Onouha acted on his behalf as his agent, not his mother and Neds would be correct in allowing his agent to act on his behalf and trust his agent, in doing so. It is quite possible he trusted his agent's decision to use an outside source in advice, which happened to be Kia the Snake. His agent has a job to do and he has a job to do.

How many other players know the ins and outs of what the agent is doing for their career, outside of signing whatever the agents suggests they sign?? Devil's Advocate point, that I make.

How is the hell is this Ned's fault? Please clue me in.

Well Kia was employed by ned/his mum. That email had to of come from one of said parties.
Unless you suggest this was all from an outside party who somehow had access to Ned and his mothers personal data and acted totally outside teh knowledge of Ned ?

I understand you wanted to keep it purely football related but it doesnt work that way does it. Due to what happened of the pitch is intrinsically linked to the player. Separating the player from the man is a very objective method of looking at it which humans are not very good at. Especially when many feel he hurt the club via his actions, of which we have much more than an objective relationship with.

Bigga if you are suggesting Nedum simply had no knowledge of what his mother/agent and adviser (kia) were doing on his behalf regarding the issue then i suggest you be very careful using such words and phrases as "child like".

This is his career and livelyhood and to suggest what you do is naive in the extreme.

Also to suggest his mother will be fully objective as his agent and be able to separate an instinct honed over thousands of years of evolution is also naive

You imply he sits down and calls his mother Mrs Onuoha or maybe he calls her Agent Onuoha when you try to discredit me is also absurd.

Furthermore it is not "in fact" it is your opinion nothing more.

It would be better for him if he could find a new club. He's way down the pecking order at City now as we've got Micah, Zaba, Savic and Kolo who can play at RB.

I like him and thought he got better as the game wore on last night but he shot his bolt a while ago so he'll probably be gone in January and it's best for all concerned if he does. We must trim the squad/wage bill and he's a prime candidate.

Defensively he was sound , he looked solid. Going forward , he looked lost and din't have the drive that Micah does

kia can find him a new club. i would say yes if i wasn't for all that soccer am/garry cook stuff
