Have a little story..
We used to tape it here in Oz as it was on at stupid o'clock on channel 7 (like 2am), and I believe we were about 10 or 12 weeks behind the UK in episodes. It was a nice bit of Manchester. These were the days before streaming things like UKTV.

Anyway I came back to the UK for a funeral and was staying at my brother's house. I was in on my own one day so I flicked the telly on. It was Corrie. So I started watching. I didn't have a clue about the plot, and because I wasn't "into" the plot I suddenly noticed how absolutely shite the "acting" was... I was literally gobsmacked. These were the worlds worst actors..

So when I got home I said to the missus I'm not watching that garbage ever again, I don't mind if you do but I won't watch it with you. She never bothered and haven't watched it since.
That was probably about 15 years ago.

Cos of course they couldn’t hold a candle to the acting classes that were Skippy and fucking neighbours.

Cos of course they couldn’t hold a candle to the acting classes that were Skippy and fucking neighbours.

Skippy was a better actor in all fairness.
Probably bouncer as well.
