Len Fairclough was great at blowing up my armbands.
I dont really know.Has Rita still got the Kabin with Mavis?
Have never watched one complete episode in my life due to my grandma staying with us for a week and when it came on me and my 2 brothers (all under 8 at the time) couldn't breathe a word or else we were scolded verbally!Have a little story..
We used to tape it here in Oz as it was on at stupid o'clock on channel 7 (like 2am), and I believe we were about 10 or 12 weeks behind the UK in episodes. It was a nice bit of Manchester. These were the days before streaming things like UKTV.
Anyway I came back to the UK for a funeral and was staying at my brother's house. I was in on my own one day so I flicked the telly on. It was Corrie. So I started watching. I didn't have a clue about the plot, and because I wasn't "into" the plot I suddenly noticed how absolutely shite the "acting" was... I was literally gobsmacked. These were the worlds worst actors..
So when I got home I said to the missus I'm not watching that garbage ever again, I don't mind if you do but I won't watch it with you. She never bothered and haven't watched it since.
That was probably about 15 years ago.

So as a kid when I heard the theme tune come on it would be my time to exit.
In the last 20 years how many have gone on to do better things? Sarah Lancashire and who else?
Whatever happened to the one who ended up being with the former City player Scott Sinclair? Did she make it to Hollywood?
Surely more sliced in two…Last time I watched Corrie with any real interest was when Alan Bradley (Rita's husband) got flattened by a Blackpool tram on the promenade.
Lol.
