Also, he was bought as an attacking full back - hence playing a quite defence minded midfield to allow full backs to get forward.

Upped his game from being out of the squad injured! As apposed to lescott who's game gets worse each time he starts.

time will tell, as there are signs of improvement, but as for boateng, i believe he will not be around to long.
px for someone who can defend.
 
A big question mark over him for me...seems slow and cumbersome. Not put in any decent crosses (well, if he has I don't remember them) which is supposed to be a big part of his game. Other than the goal last night, 99% of his shots have been miles off target. He may just be finding his feet...

What worries me is that he looks like a player who would be suited to the Italian league rather than the Premiership but we'll wait and see...
 
Worried about this guy more than all our signings. No pace, doesn't get tight enough and not great in the air.

Very disappointed, especially after Mourinho's comments that he wanted to sign him.

I hope it's just poor form but you've either got pace or you haven't.
 
kolarov is doing very well.

some people seem forget the way mancini play without a left wing able to protect the left full back. so he often is left isolated and exposed , but this is part of the game plain.

You don't pay twenty odd fucking million for a player to spend a season bedding in.

It wasn't a problem for Kompany, De Jong or Silva.

I suggest you concentrate more at the games.

He put in atleast 2 good crosses on Sat. One last night and more of his shots have been on traget or within a foot than off target.
