But surely, as he is a RB he would be better there than LB and then we have the three people you named playing at LB - so not really a problem?

We have an incredibly flexible back line which is great

I dont think LB is a problem, sorry that wasnt clear.

Even if he is potentially a better RB, he is our best LB so he starts there because Walker also has to start.

But like I said, then we have no depth for RB. Our starting LB hardly counts imo.
 
Mendy - time to give up. Even if he gets fit he is not great.
 
The is a recent article on The Athletic titled "Marauding Chilwell is exactly what Lampard and Chelsea needed" which talks up the ex-Leicester full back and has lots of positive comments from Chelsea fans.

I thought he was pretty average but they seem to like him - chance missed?

A few people have said City basically had a deal done for Chillwell and we pulled out last min.

I think he is a good player, pretty much always available and was always going to look better in a different team. If we didnt have Mendy we would have gone for him.

Maybe Slabhead's performances at the swamp scared us of buying a Leicester defender (or maybe it was FFS's fault)
