Is Lescott becoming the next Kompany?

I've always liked him.

Quick, good in the air, strong in the tackle. Can score a goal although he hasn't done that much for us. All he needed was games, and a bit of time.

I never understand why some fans fall over themselves to rubbish players, and don't give them a chance

He's perhaps not brilliant at passing, but I think he is one of the best centre backs in the Premiership. I think we have the best 4. Our central defence is the strongest part of our team

I hope he does but I don't think he is good enough and I expect Mancini to buy a new CB in the summer. Kolo has had his chance and now it seems it is Joleon's turn. I really hope he proves me wrong.

Lescott has been imperious in the last few weeks. We are finally seeing his best on a consistent basis since he joined.

He understandably struggled when we first got him, and his only mistakes since then have been mainly due to lack of games.
He should be part of a settled back 4 of Richards Lescott Kompany and Zab.. Although Bobby may prefer his own men...
