Is Manchester a tough place to live in?

The only 'amazing' thing about changes in Manchester is the development of the East of the city, thanks to ADUG investment.
If it wasn't for Sheikh Mansour and Co, it would be wasteland from the City centre to Audenshaw.
Really? So ADUG financed the stadium and Tram expansion to East Manchester.

Yeah, but Haaland (if he joins) isn't really going to be affected by any of Manchester's problems. He's not going to be living in an area where you have to kick those little gas cannisters out the way when he steps out the door to go to training.

I honestly can't imagine anyone who has or earns enough money to leave the likes of Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham etc, would want to live within 5 miles of the city centres.
There's a reason why all the wealthy businesspeople moved out of once posh areas like Victoria Park, Chorlton, Whalley Range, etc to leafy Cheshire in the early to mid 20th century.
The city of Manchester has been a magnet for thugs, ne'er do wells and lowlifes for over 100 years. It's well documented.

Born in Mosside in the 50s lived in Manchester all my life except from time spent in the forces.
Moved to spain 14 years ago and belive me a drive through manchester is depressing the drive over the mancunian way makes me sick.
