Is Manchester a tough place to live in?

Potentially, excellent news. If they get it right.
£25m not much of a budget sadly. We need more green space. The trams and buses should be undergound with the ground level all developed into a huge garden space with trees and fountains and a big lake. That one in Hamburg is impressive. To do it properly it will cost billions. Money is always found for these sort of projects in London. Any improvement would be welcomed as a start.

and virtually empty and suffers from very low rents.
Travesty both that building & the revamped ‘gardens’.

what are the chances that thing (No.1) can flattened?

Surely the plaza will one day go?

Had a colleague visit Manchester from Cambridge on a reccy & he commented on the gardens.
He chose Leeds to live in the end.
