Is Manchester airport the worst in Europe?

The main complaints are about the staff and procedures but it’s still a badly designed terminal.

Toilets that have 5 cubicles and 2 urinals in a space that could fit in double. That would stop long queues stretching outside.

Is that where they do security now;-)

I have not been to Manchester airport for a long time, but the stories of many people squashed into a small area worries me a lot. it only needs one idiot to do something unthinkable and the consequences do no bear to think about.

Flew back into Mcr yday. Was an absolute breeze, no queues anywhere and bags already on belt as we entered baggage reclaim. What an absolute dump though.

Been to Grasmere, Hawkshead and Coniston this week and all have been delightful, quiet, cracking little boozers and overall a lovely peaceful week. Only yesterday we went to Ambleside and it was rammed.

Windermere and Ambleside have been absolutely ruined by the great unwashed. When all the parking spaces are full in Windermere they drive 10 minutes up the road and plonk themselves in Ambleside. Last time I drove through both they looked like absolute chaos, far far too many Dipper shirts for my liking. The 3 you mentioned are absolutely amazing. I'd throw Keswick in there as well. Stunning. Emmas Bakery in Grasmere is something fucking else. She should be famous the standard of food she knocks out.
