Is Manchester airport the worst in Europe?

It's a strange set up this place . I've seen figures of how many millions they earn on car parking and it's enormous. Yet they claim the travelator/skywalk is turned off to save money. They have also refused to cut the perimeter trees/bushes on the cycle paths because of lack of money. Imagine going to a normal airport and going from one terminal to another where every escalator/travelator is not working. Management is a joke

Flights out start at around 5.30 am. The airport tell passengers to arrive 3 hours early. There is only a token number of security staff on until 4am when they all file out en masse . To run efficiently the security staff should be starting an hour earlier or the first flights should start an hour later. Don't think either will happen.

Re car park charges you can jump on a tram in the same zone and it will cost under £2. The airport tram station is right in the heart of the airport. If a small percentage of travellers arrived on the tram as opposed to paying the rip off fees it would be noted by the airport number crunchers.

Have to give credit where due. Just landed back at T2, mininal waiting. Passport control ten minutes, baggage reclaim 5, I'm on the train now headed into Manchester less than an hour after landing.

Was a lot of bags at the side however with staff going through them to redirect.

Anywhere in that zone safe to leave a car for the duration of the trip? Or even a cheap park on my drive?

Jet2 flight out this morning scheduled for 7.15
Arrived at 4am, big queue outside to get into the terminal at check in area A. This is all easyJet passengers and they were just about to start moving these people inside
We went downstairs to check in Area B, the Jet2 check in. Getting the bags on the scales and tagged was fine. The worst bit was waiting for the bag drop
Security was busy but moving. Three of five scanners working
From arrival to clearing Security took an hour
It is busy in here. We are about Flight number 25 from T1 this morning and as I said, it's scheduled for 7.15
