Is Mancini Being Set Up?

Its just one PR disaster after another. What is going on?
First the News Conference fiasco where he was left to deal with wreckage of Garry Cook's blurtings about meeting dates.
Then Cook compromises him by saying he had already been in talks with Liverpool.
Then this clumsy attempt to say that there was contact with Veron but it was just a joke.
Now it's looking like Ansaldi will sign despite a public denial.

The posters on here who say they have it on unimpeachable (but not disclosable) authority that Mancini is a willing stopgap until Mourinho arrives could be right then.

Maybe he is being set up as a patsy.

If City sack Mancini to make way for Mourinho it will be an act of incredible and unforgiveable stupidity.

I heard cook whisper something about the grassy knoll and JFK in the first interview, and just last week he was talking about 9/11 and the mastermind behind it, sure heard mancini mentioned both times

If find the Veron thing bizarre to be honest and there is no logical behined it

Have seen a few reports about Ansaldi but the sources are pretty questionable and none of these reports have been reported on SSN who for me at least are the people whom i look too.

With whats been going on at the club since the takeover it would be no surprise if Mancini was only a stop gap for Mourinho i hope not though the club is crying out for stability.
