Is Manuel Pellegrinis relaxed attitude affecting our dealings this summer??

With the squads all returning for pre season training and the lack of comings into the club so far at a snails pace is it Manuel Pellegrinis style of management that has everyone at the club so relaxed about getting the deals done? I think we wont sign any of our main targets until after our tour in all honesty. Is that great preparation leading into the new season or not? Some might say it isnt. With the players we are looking at its always going to be a long summer.
Take away the signing of Enes Unal who will more than likely end up in the EDS this season its looking like as the weeks go by and the closer we get to the start of the season that if we miss out on our main targets we might well find it hard getting in even players off our B list. I know a week in football anything can happen and will happen. I just get the feeling if we had a more pro active manager in charge by now we would of signed 1 of our main targets and not let the situation drag on and on with some of our targets. I know were going for our first choice players but I just think its getting to the stage for everyone involved we need a signing in now to start off our domino effect hopefully.
Just hope by the time were back from our tour of Oz we when all our players are back in training we will have all our targets in. But as time goes by thats looking less and less as the days go bye.

Great post.

Except it isn't a great post. It's an utterly shit one because it misses the fundamental point: the manager has nothing whatsoever to do with transfer negotiations.

This isn't 1972 where Brian Clough gets in his car and drives to a player's house to persuade him to sign, you know.

Jesus Wept.

Yeah. Let's blame him now!!! Funny though that his 'relaxed' attitude doesn't rub off on the fans in the same way

So we're to take it you disagree with him?

Why is that so many City supporters have no idea how our management is structured?
