Maradona had the greatest World cup for any player I have seen in 1986.
My first World cup was 1970.Brazil was the best team ever.
Would say Pele as well but that was some team.
Cruyff in 74 better as well.
Still glad he won it yesterday.

After seeing how Maradona single-handedly (see what I did there?!?) won trophies at Napoli and then the World Cup in '86, I was one of the doubters, but not anymore.

I would take Messi for one year at City, don't care how old he is. I am so happy I saw him in the flesh.

I thought my dreams had come true in 2012, but the thought of seeing Leo in Blue would be on par.

It's hard to compare greats from different eras. Messi for me is the best player of the last 2 decades. Pele, Maradona, and the real Ronaldo were all phenomenal but not contemporaneous with Messi. Hard to choose who is best among them.
