Is our club against capping away prices?

If the club pay money to the players, who then pay it back to the club, doesn't 40% end up with Osborne?

They would have to waive part of their salary otherwise there would be 45% tax plus NIC. However, that is never going to happen and I am not sure why it would be the responsibility of the players in any event. Incidentally, do you all think that those clubs who can near enough sell out their grounds really care whether there are any away supporters?

From our friends at West Ham..... This is the way to treat supporters

The key details are as follows:

  • Every Season Ticket price band will see a reduction as the Club uses increased broadcast revenue to offer dramatically cheaper tickets to its supporters

  • A new entry-level Band 5 adult Season Ticket will cost just £289 – the cheapest in the Premier League

  • All Season Tickets for Under-16s will be cut to just £99 – the equivalent of only £5 per game

  • A family of four can buy a Season Ticket for just £776 – the equivalent of £41 per match

Well something in that is not right, my mate is a s/t holder at the Boleyn and will see a rise of £300 when they go to the Olympic Stadium next season, for a similar seat.
