My brother (a rag) directed me to this on redcafe where some of them are trying to make a case for Shay being way below world class.

What's your opinion?
In my opinion i genuinley think he is up there with the very best in the world.
To be fair, a fair few seem to be sticking up for him but the detractors say Reina, Adler, Neur, Lloris, Cesar, Cech, VDS, Casillas and Buffon are miles better.
For me, you'd have to be an avid watcher of French and Germand football before you could even come anywhere near that conclusion. Secondly they seem to be vastly over-rating VDS. He's a good keeper don't get me wrong but imo he doesn't stand out from anyone.
Thirdly, a few of the idiots are claiming Given isn't 'United Class' obviously fogetting that aside from Schemichael, they've only really had VDS who's been half decent. Taibi, Bosnich, Barthez, Carroll, Foster, Kustchakakakakak...i could probably go on...
