very few goals for a lot of appearances, I counted 37 assists too in his pro career.... Not gonna judge him but we should have got Villa, or at least be going for the cream of players. not the transfer crumbs

Well there is a lot of amused characters out there good good.

I have faith in Manchini. And I also am pleased with the signing of Silva, also Boateng and the new chilli Keeper.

I would just love to see maybe a really big name join us, Aguero would be amazing, Milito, Villa (he is a player I have always enjoyed watching even before we got money), or even Benzeema. Just one really good big named goals scorer.

I do understand its not all about goals its about the creation of them and thats whats great about Silva, but I think we have good providers but didn't seem to have the edge at the end of the season that got us goals.

My opinion. Laugh all you want. I've played on the wing all my life in Saturday league and School boy, i understand the role. :)

Cheers mate, this forum does feel a lot more like a muck slinging contest to be honest. Everyone just slags each other off here. Citymancs was bit more intelligent at least.

Most of the time I post negatively when my day is bad, and positively when I am having a good day, or I'm baked!

End of the day a Forum is for discussion and the proposing of ideas so even crap opinions still get out there.

yeah, there's some right mardy characters around that's for sure, it's worse during the transfer window and after a defeat. folk forget we're (mostly) all blues on here after all, and as blues we've been thru a lot together, we should be overjoyed not bitching at one another - not sure if it's the new expect everything now fan we can look forward to or just young bucks getting all fired up about nowt, i sincerely hope it's the latter

All this "He's only signed for the money" crap is Rag propaganda. Yes the money helps but he knows the club is on the up. Would he have signed this contract on the same wages if he was going to be the only star player at Nuneaton Borough? Seriously? No of course not. The money has swayed his interest in our favour but he wouldn't be here if he didn't think we had a chance of challenging for major honours. The only people in the world who don't think we have any chance are the bitter reds and a smattering of other jealous fans.
