We stayed at a caravan park at Manorbier,just outside Tenby about 20 years ago.I took my girls to visit Manorbier Castle which is where they had filmed The Chronicles of Narnia and the girls had been watching it on TV that summer(1989 I think).
My highlight was going to Pendine Sands which is a huge flat beach that was used for land speed record attempts in the 1920s and 30s.There was not much there but the historical associations with the famous names like Malcolm Campbell,Henry Segrave and Parry Thomas etc.made it a visit to remember.

Took the kids to Saundersfoot a couple of years ago and loved it.

Got a couple of DVD players for the car this year when we went to Cornwall, best £150 I ever spent.

Five hour drive, five hour bloody drive. Lol, my in laws drive 24 hours to Florida twice a year and they're in their seventies. I have to laugh at the driving back there, I used to remember as a kid going to Blackpool, there would be cars upon cars of folk sitting in deck chairs on the side of the motorway, eating sandwiches and drinking flasks of tea. Is the windmill still there ?

Cheers Stuart, Hopefully that windmill will finally sway my wife into wanting to go to Blackpool instead of Paris. The towers were running neck and neck. Oh to take Star for a ride down the sands again.

I live about 20 minutes away from Tenby, although I have lived here for years I never get bored of the place. Do it!!

Pretty sure ive been there, about 20 years ago when i was about 6, I think. Can't remember anything about the place. Hope this helps.
