Not in this window - clubs are more likely to sell in summer so I doubt we'll see a big name now. Anyway its results that matter, not reputation. We should just boost an already decent squad with some new options that fit and see where we are in summer. Right now we are known as 'the club who didn't get kaka' so probably best to just concentrate on other things until summer.

That said, who knows what they are working on right now. Maybe they feel they have to give the fans something big now. I'd settle for a complimentary Balti pie though at CoMS and a good performance against Newcastle tho.

We don't want to be paying 40 million quid for santa cruz end of.

well look at the season so far, stevie ireland been by far our best player. and no-one would call him a superstar (well we would :))
kompany been class, not a superstar either
zab been very solid, not a big player
so i think we just need more players in this mould before we get these big players in!
