Is the club going to put in an official complaint about the officiating on Saturday?

No point, the points were lost anyway. For me Phil should have got the penalty, and no way was the second goal for the barcodes legitimate, but that is VAR for you, it seems they were trying to compensate for the scousers moaning about that disallowed goal. Politics influences the outcomes every time.

How many forums do you think have posters who have used those exact words? I’d say all of them. Regardless of the league they’re in.

Only dippers go full dipper, however. Nobody wants to go full dipper.
this is what the tin foil hatters cant see. If every club thinks that the refs are biased against their team then guess what….

Pretty easy to manipulate. All I've done is given the barcodes player a size 9 boot instead of a 4, and moved the lines. We don't even know if this cartoon was drawn at the point the ball was played.

The largest fuck up is that you can only be classed as offside if it's a part of your body you can score with.

It's bent :)

We get this nearly every game, about time we called these **** officials out…..
Ask any fan of any team and they'll all say they get bad decisions every week, it's not just us. The refs are just generally incompetent.

The last thing we need is to turn into entitled little whingers who just complain about how everythings unfair.

Sky showed two freeze frames of the incident with players which to me both looked a good 6" offside.

What they did a few minutes later was conjure up that bullshit AI technology in order to try and justify it wasn't offside. It's all a complete pisstake we should not be prepared to let go.

the avatar Dias, is from a few frames after the ball leaves the Newcastle player. The Newcastle avatar is as the ball leaves the Newcastle player… and yes I noticed the small avatar foot as well.

The fact that no ‘live’ picture was shown with the lines and it took 5mins to produce the graphic with its anomalies… is pretty damning.

Phil’s nonpenalty is a foul, (it’s in the box, it’s a penalty), where the ball is, is irrelevant, it’s a dangerous leg/ankle breaker tackle.

I haven’t seen the handball one in detail, but it looked pretty certain on single view.

This may have been posted already (not sure) but it is a very good analysis - articulate and systematic. There is no doubt in my mind this was the result of the 2 week media wankfest over the Van Dick decision (even though that was 100% correct by the laws of the game).

Dias was on the floor when the header took place. This shows an image of when Dias actually jumped. Sorry, but the whole referring performance was so one sided that it totally feels like the result was manipulated.

We've had stuff like this over the years and managed to be too good still - unfortunately now we're not quite that level and this is too much for us.

Have you seen where they have drawn the line from? The rule is that it should be the bottom of the armpit, it’s halfway down his arm where his sleeve finishes?
Is that before, after or as well as using a different graphic?
Is it generally accepted fact that the line is where his sleeve finishes or is it only select Blues that can see that?

They should absolutely be doing it IMO - this wouldn't be dipperesque sour grapes (one thing that doesn't go their way in amongst a sea of favourable decisions), city were thoroughly shafted on Saturday and it needs highlighting and forced into the media. It won't change the result, but it might make the cheating twats be not so so brazen in future matches.
It wasn't just the big decisions either. There was also a lot of subtleties with marginal calls, and a clear disproportionality with the application of the LOTG, especially with how many times they were allowed to kick the shit out of our players with zero comeback.

Something was off big time in the way that game was officiated, and it wasn't just the officials having a bad day.

Yep, that’s my opinion too, they used a frame from a couple later than the one they should have used, bent as fuck.

No point...Pep's reaction with the cameraman and his apology over his behaviour is now front and centre. We've lost the media narrative once again and everyone except City fans has probably forgotten any of the incidents in the game on Saturday.
I like it best when he are hated, and we win on the pitch.
