Is the club going to put in an official complaint about the officiating on Saturday?

Has anyone got the Dias offside picture with the lines on but not the virtual one. Saw it on here and didn’t event look like the redline met up with Dias ?

Jay Bothroyd on Ref Watch on Sky Sports News called this out, but the presenter got him to move on to something else.

How many forums do you think have posters who have used those exact words? I’d say all of them. Regardless of the league they’re in.

Only dippers go full dipper, however. Nobody wants to go full dipper.
I couldn’t give a fuck about the dippers or any other team. We were fucked over and if you can’t see that then I pity you.

Our rivals go on the pitch in the knowledge that they will get the 50/50 decisions In their favour. We go on the pitch trying to circumvent the officials, negotiating a path through a minefield of unfathomable decisions and interpretations of the LOTG that fly in the face of fairness.

Our players have suffered this for years. They know its not just about skill, technique or tactics. The psychological effect of this cannot be underestimated.

You can pretty much guarantee the following pattern for every single PL game for Manchester City FC:

* We will be penalised for the slightest transgression.
* We will be flagged early for marginal offside calls, whilst opposition marginal offsides will be allowed to play out and be decided by VAR.
* The threshold for penalty claims will be raised for us and lowered for the opposition.
* Players will be cautioned for barely bookable offences.
* Team fouling will be ignored for our opposition.
* Persistent individual opposition fouling will be allowed without caution thereby taking out any risk of a 2nd yellow.
* Key City players will be booked at the earliest opportunity thereby increasing the risk of a second yellow.
* Time wasting will be ignored for the opposition but be dealt with by a caution for our players (see the barely believable stats for City GK bookings compared to opponent GK cautions).
* Additional time will be applied by a multiple of 2 if we're winning a game, divided by 2 if we're chasing a game.
* Referees will be positioning themselves in our passing lanes.
* VAR will continue to look for reasons to disallow a City goal, whilst looking for ways to allow an opposition goal.
* Impeding of our GK will be allowed for any set piece.
* Tactical breaks will be allowed whenever an oppo GK decides to feign injury at the instruction of the bench.
* Dubious "advantage" plays will be implemented for City despite no advantage.
* Clear and obvious "advantage" plays for City will be pulled back for the offence to allow our oppo to regroup.
* Play will be stopped to allow oppo players to tie their laces.
* Dissent and ref crowding will be allowed for our oppo but punishable by caution for ours.
* After any City VAR decision 10 minutes will be allocated to allow the VAR team time to manipulate any AI images, adjust camera angles, confer with the PL to massage the PIGMOL statement and set the narrative with the broadcasters.

How many times have we heard the term fine margins? Well, if the fine margins are rigged by officialdom, those small percentages decide outcomes and titles, despite world class coaching and world class players.

In rugby union, the appointed referee is analysed, his decision making patterns studied and his interpretation of the rules communicated to the players as part of any game preparation. The TMO process however is transparent, the process shown live in the stadium in real time and decisions are accepted, rarely deemed skewed in the favour of one team.

Compare and contrast the VAR process we get in our national sport.

Institutionalised at PIGMOL, aided and abetted by the PL, and normalised by the likes of Sly, Nonce TV (Salford) Ltd and the Redtop media cartel.

Complaint? What's the point?
Revolution? Bring it fucking on.

If I truly believed 10% of that was true I would have stopped watching football years ago! You seriously see examples of that in every single game? How the fuk have we managed to win one tittle let alone multiple ones! They must be incompetent at corruption.
Have you ever shared any of this with a non City fan?
Congratulations, you have transitioned to full Dipper.

No point complaining about fouls, handballs etc. Smacks of sour grapes.
But we should be demanding clarification on the process leading to the decision on their second - why wasn‘t the automated image shown immediately, why did it take so long for it to appear, why was it so obviously different from the freeze frames shown at the moment of decision (i.e. Dias off the ground)?

I thought we should have at least one pens, but decisions not always go your way.

Complaining when a decision doesn’t go your way to the fa is pretty poor in my opinion. Leave that to Liverpool.

If it was only "a" decision. By my reckoning that's the fourth or fifth time a stonewall City penalty has not been given.

Hats off mate if you wrote that yourself. Bravo.

Cheers for that mate.
So 90% of that is bullshit?
And you can fuck off with the dipper comment.

I rest assured that the club are on it. We do lots of sports science and I am sure we have the means (If not doing it already) to be able to examine all of the games we play and look for patterns of referee and VAR performance against us. I mean if our games are being manipulated then they would be able to spot that, even if it was our just games against the top6 teams.

Cheers for that mate.

No it's all bullshit, I said if I believed just 10% of it was true I would walk away.
I'll gladly fuck off with the dipper comment but you need to know that post would be right at home on their forum and often is.

Pretty much ALL of that happened in ONE fucking game FFS.

If its dipperish then up the fucking reds la. YNWA.

the avatar Dias, is from a few frames after the ball leaves the Newcastle player. The Newcastle avatar is as the ball leaves the Newcastle player… and yes I noticed the small avatar foot as well.

The fact that no ‘live’ picture was shown with the lines and it took 5mins to produce the graphic with its anomalies… is pretty damning.

Phil’s nonpenalty is a foul, (it’s in the box, it’s a penalty), where the ball is, is irrelevant, it’s a dangerous leg/ankle breaker tackle.

I haven’t seen the handball one in detail, but it looked pretty certain on single view.
There are no live pictures of lines anymore. It’s produced by AI taking a still of the moment with 30 cameras from different angles generating the digital image and the AI determines whether it’s offside or not.

It’s been this way in the PL since 12th April 2025, at the Etihad Stadium, City v Palace.

Dias was off the ground in real life as well as the image.

Unlike Liverpool whining about a goal that wouldn't have changed the outcome against us, we're talking 2 clear penalty decisions, an offside goal, and several of their players not getting booked which could have led to second yellows.

If you think complaining against the officiating is futile then fool you, i don't.
Get a fucking life!
