6 m being reported! i think thats great money for dunne! ill always respect him for his 9 years of effort! but at his age how and with more and more mistakes and the turning circle of a small cruise liner i think that sort of money is good!

watching toure now and his mobility just makes you realise what we have been missing at the back
Great money other than if the stories of his buyout costing the club .......6m

true and would be very disappionting on dunnes behalf! instead i think a friendly with villa next pre-season (a testimonial for dunne) would be more fitting! i know he's only had 9 seasons but he was dedicated to the club and over came alot of problems to preform for us!

Agree good idea. Cant be paying off Dunne if he wants to go for first team football fair enough but he would still be good cover so it needs to be £6 million cash to us anywthing else is between Dunne and Villa.

Well, there's only 1 hour 15 minutes left, and he's STILL a City player at this point. I'd have thought Dunne, Benjani, Tal Ben Haim and Garrido would have been gone by now, we've still got 75% of them!!

According to Goal. com Dunne has signed for Villa.

Don't have too much of a problem with a payout for Dunne (although I'm opposed to money making testimonials for millionaire footballers in general).

I think it's for the best that he leaves, and if it costs us a few million to get the job done then so be it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Goal.com stated I'd signed for Villa.

I'll wait for the OS to tell me.

true but if you look into this the rumour is dunne is asking for a 6m pay off and the fee is reportedly 6m so in effect he's be going for free???

so take the 6m and arrange a testimonial for him?

Yeah, no problem with that. I suspect the payout is a bit excaggerated though.
